Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Jon Felicano is partnering with The Belle Center to host a backpack and school supply giveaway on Saturday, August 14th, from noon to 2:00 pm. Distribution of the 500 pre-filled backpacks for boys and girls will take place at The Belle Center parking lot at 104 Maryland St, Buffalo, NY. No pre-registration is required. Backpacks are first-come, first-served.
“I know how it feels to go without, so I want to do what I can to help Buffalo-area kids start the school year off right,” said Feliciano. “The Belle Center is the perfect event partner because every day they provide new opportunities and resources for some of Buffalo’s most underserved youth and families.”
Lucy Candelario, Executive Director at The Belle Center said, “I am overwhelmed and overjoyed that Jon Feliciano has chosen the youth of The Belle Center for this big-hearted giveaway. School supplies are a challenge for struggling families. Jon’s generosity will be so appreciated by our children and their parents.”
The event is also made possible through the generosity of 26Shirts, Facet Wealth, and Firestarter.
