The Trail Blazers have reportedly agreed to a deal with veteran wing Tony Snell, which gives the team a floor spacer and a more than willing defender.T
Coming off a season in which he appeared in 47 games for the Hawks, Snell became the first player in NBA history to shoot over 50% from the field and three-point line and also 100% from the free-throw line.
Although what he did last year may be an aberration, he made the most of it playing sparingly on a loaded Hawks team with forwards.
Snell averaged 5.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers made per game while shooting 51.5 % from the field and 56.9 percent from three a season ago.
A player who can be highly efficient when called upon is the type of guy the Blazers need.
