BILLS SHUT OUT TEXANS 40-0.
Coach McDermott was very eager to get to practice this past week as his team prepared for the Texans. “Overall we didn’t play our best game upfront, we gotta play better and we have to have a great week of practice!” says Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott. It seems like the Bills defense were up to the challenge on giving up 109 total yards to the Houston Texans on Sunday. Defense served up another flawless victory producing 4 interceptions 3 sacks and one fumble recovery. Even-though the Bills played well, they understand that it’s so much room for improvements. ” It’s still alot of meat on the bone” says LB Tremaine Edmunds who first quarter interception wiped away a Big mistake by Josh Allen to start the game. UB product Cam Lewis played very well in Taron Johnson absence forcing a fumble on a key Texans drive.
OFFENSE CONTINUES TO BUILD CHEMISTRY:
Josh Allen & Co. amassed over 450 total yards, the RB core of Zack Moss and Devin Singletary combined for 140 yards at 14 carries a piece and one touchdown. Stefon Diggs went over 100 receiving yards the first time this season with (114) on 7 catches. TE Dawson Knox 5 catches 37 yards and 2 touchdowns continues to earn Josh trust.
The Bills have won 3 straight games since the Steelers stole one Week 1, but now they focus on preparing for the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs won 38-24, how will the Bills get over the hump in Kansas City? Stay tuned all week for exclusive content leading up to the Sunday night matchup.
