Bills crush Saints on Thanksgiving Night 31-6
There has been some ups and downs midseason has the Bills have won two out of the last four games. Getting back on task quickly after being thrashed at home by the Indianapolis Colts, the Bills set the tone early getting the run game going with Devin Singletary 15 carries 45 yards and Matt Breida being effective on the ground and catching a late touchdown to seal the victory. WR Stefon Diggs caught seven passes for 74 yards and one score, But in the fashion how he scored. Up 10-0 at halftime the Bills put together an 11- play drive for 75 yards to start the second half. Josh Allen hit Diggs 1-on-1 with All-Pro CB Marshon Lattimore, has he got separation quite easily against one of the league’s best.
“He’s a route technician, I think everybody knows that. I don’t know what you’re supposed to do when you’re out there with him because one he’s very smart with the way he sets you up, the quickness and the speed out of his cuts it’s pretty unbelievable so I saw him open and I just tried to get it to him as quickly as possible before he got out too wide,” Allen said while talking to media.
BILLS DEFENSE REGAINS FORM , BUT LOSES TRE
Ed Oliver is having his best season by far, being consistent making plays up front. The Bills held the Saints offense under 200 total yards. But at the expense of losing Tre’ White. The All Pro CB tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Jordan Poyer picked off Trevor Siemen in the 4th Quarter to close the game out.
