NFL Free Agency begins next week on Wednesday starting the new league year. The Buffalo Bills have a lot needs to fill this offseason. There are big names that the Bills could potentially get in free agency that could make them a scary team going into the 2025 NFL Season. Here are the free agency predictions for the Buffalo Bills.

Bills make a splash move getting either Myles Garrett or DK Metcalf

It’s a quite pipe dream for Bills fans that Myles Garrett or DK Metcalf could end being a Buffalo Bill going into the 2025 NFL Season. Garrett has requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns and wants to move on from the team and go to an Super Bowl contending team. This past week, DK Metcalf has also requested a trade from the Seattle Seahawks wanting to go an Super Bowl contending team too. Now the Buffalo Bills can’t both players at the same team due to their salary cap situation. But if they do get either of these players, not only it will improved the team, but also it will make them a major threat around the league. Bills fans will be happy with either trade move that Brandon Beane makes in free agency.

Bills give Josh Allen an field stretcher wide receiver in Marquise “Hollywood” Brown

In the last month it’s been reported that the reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen wants to have Marquise “Hollywood” Brown on the team. Brown is a speedy receiver and field stretcher as an deep threat guy something that the Bills are looking to add on the roster. But injuries have derailed Brown in the last few years, especially from the preseason last year when he suffered an dislocation shoulder injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That might have some major red flags for the Bills, but when healthy Brown is one of the best deep threat receivers in the league. Getting a guy like Brown will open up Joe Brady’s playbook even more having a field stretcher that Allen can trust making those big time catches in big games.

Jevon Holland joins Buffalo filling up a major hole in the secondary

As the old saying goes, “if you can’t beat them, why not join them.” Jevon Holland is one of the most underrated safeties in the league. He has tremendous versatile ball skills and excellent in coverage. Holland has been a key factor in the Dolphins defensive scheme over the years and he will a major fit within the Bills secondary and a huge improvement. The Bills secondary is the weakest link in the roster and adding a guy like Jevon Holland will be a major upgrade on the team being alongside with players liker Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop and Damar Hamlin. Holland to Buffalo would great addition to the team, but folks in Miami wouldn’t be to happy with his decision going to an division rival, especially a team they get dominated by every year.

Asante Samuel Jr gets a fresh new start in Buffalo

The Bills are lacking in the cornerback room. With players like Rasul Douglas testing the free agency market and Kaiir Elam most likely being on from the team. That leaves players like Christian Benford, Taron Johnson and Cam Lewis in the cornerback room. Buffalo will likely to draft a cornerback in April, however though they take a chance with Asante Samuel Jr. The son of the four time Pro Bowler and two time Super Bowl champion cornerback, the former second round pick from the 2020 NFL Draft is looking for a fresh new start somewhere else after his first four years in the league with the Los Angeles Chargers and that fresh new start could be in Buffalo. Unlike his father who has a physical cornerback, Samuel Jr is a zone cornerback that will fit well with the Bills under McDermott’s 4-3 defensive scheme. Samuel Jr won’t have to play up to man against bigger and faster receivers. He will play up front in zone coverage keeping his eyes on the wideout is covering against. Samuel Jr will a great replacement for Douglas, if he leaves in his free agency and playing alongside with star cornerback Christian Benford as his new co-star on the team.
