Even during the offseason, Buffalo Bills players remain active and present both on and off the field. Players like Damar Hamlin, Buffalo Bills’ safety and Dewayne Carter, Buffalo Bill’s defensive tackle, host events that are geared towards having a great time while giving back to the community.

Hamlin’s Chasing M’s All-Star Weekend

Hamlin’s Chasing M’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to youth health and safety through sports. On June 8, Hamlin held his second annual Chasing M’s Foundation All-Star Basketball Game in Pittsburgh, PA. The game brought together a full crowd of sports fans, celebrities and athletes alike, while fundraising for youth activities as well as CPR training and education. After suffering from cardiac arrest on-field during a regular season game in January of 2023, Hamlin has been an avid advocate for players’ safety on the field. The night was full of energy as it was a celebration of life, not only for Hamlin, but for others who have endured a similar life changing event.

Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver, Keon Coleman, stole the show, dropping a mind-blowing 60 points. While he is new to the Bills, his performance on the court, in the community and on the field reflect a true Buffalo Bill. Coleman manages to impress Buffalo in the offseason which proves that he is ready to make his mark during the season.

Other notable names that were present at the all-star game include former Buffalo Bill, Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills’ offensive tackle, Dion Dawkins, and Buffalo Bills’ running back, James Cook.

Carter Holds First Football Camp in Ohio

On June 7, one day before the basketball game, Carter hosted his very first youth football camp in his hometown, Pickerington, OH. The camp welcomed young athletes interested in furthering their skill and knowledge of the game of football. These athletes learned straight from Carter which may be a once in a lifetime experience.

Carter led drills, held workshops which focused on leadership, and hosted an awards ceremony which recognized any special achievements these young players had.
