Bills gives up 2nd round pick for veteran WR
GM Brandon Beane has begun the Joe Brady Era with a safe, yet familiar move that could be a major key to the Bills continued Super Bowl push. Acquiring D.J. Moore gives the Bills stability at the position, after a schematic low producing WR room.

BILLS RECEIVES
DJ MOORE AND BEARS 5TH ROUND PICK (161)
BEARS RECEIVES
BILLS 2ND ROUND PICK (60)
The Bills are getting a true No.1 receiver at a mid-tier cap number, what that means is instead of signing a free agent star getting a high caliber-playmaker saving 8-10 million per season. Bills mainly inherit Moore base salary and manageable bonuses while it reduces an immediate cap burden. Bills also could restructure Moore contract to create more cap space which made the trade financially attractive.

Moore brings True No.1 WR traits , elite route running, yards after catch ability and the speed to stretch defenses. Adding Moore forces opponents to commit more coverage outside opening space for the running game and the middle of the field. Defenses already struggle to contain Josh Allen’s arm and mobility, this move makes the Bills offenses immediately dangerous.
Strategy and Ambition
They added a proven playmaker without signing a massive new deal , protected their salary cap flexibility, and gave their franchise quarterback another weapon. If the gamble works, DJ Moore could become a key piece in Buffalo’s pursuit of the one thing the city has been chasing for decades a Super Bowl championship.
