The Ravens (6-3) and Bengals (4-5) faceoff in the next installment of this juicy modern rivalry tonight on Thursday Night Football.
They met back in week five for a thriller that ended in overtime with the Ravens besting the Bengals 41-38. The Ravens can sweep the series and win for the seventh time in eight weeks while the Bengals look to clean up the mess that a 0-3 start created and get back to .500 on the season. A loss tonight would negatively impact their playoff hopes and the Bengals are considering this one a “must win”
Both teams are coming off 41 point performances, quite the coincidence. Expect a shootout as two supercharged offenses face off tonight on Prime. The Bengals defense has remained towards the bottom of the league which Baltimore will undoubtedly be looking to exploit. Baltimore just made the leagues 4th ranked scoring defense look foolish, so that is the X-factor for me this week.
Burrow is 3-5 against Baltimore while Jackson is 9-2 against Cincinnati. Raven’s are -6.5 point favorites and the public is split on who will win.
Kickoff is slated for 8:15 at M&T Bank Stadium and WUFO is taking the Ravens in a tight contest 38-35.
